McHappy Day was another success this year. Campbell River McDonalds owners Jens and Mary Rolinski presented the Hospital Foundation with a cheque for $2,913.
This event has been supporting the Campbell River Hospital Foundation with this event since 2009, and has to date raised $52,095. This years donation will be used towards the purchase of a Jaundice Meter for Public Health. With over 500 births annually, the public health nurses will see approximately 4 babies per week and this meter will allow for a quick, non-invasive estimate of bilirubin concentration, which in turn will help formulate a follow up care plan.
We are always, are so grateful for the support from Campbell River McDonalds. Thank you for supporting Quality Healthcare, Close to Home.
