Today was an incredibly special day as we had the honor of visiting Coastal Community Credit Union for a momentous cheque presentation.
Their generous donation of $50,000 to the Just Like Home Adult Lodge project is nothing short of extraordinary! This monumental gift is a testament to the unwavering support and dedication of Coastal Community Credit Union towards our shared vision of creating a warm and welcoming space for our community members. We are immensely grateful for their partnership and belief in this important project.
The Campbell River Hospital Foundation has partnered up with the Strathcona Regional District to be the fundraising body for the Just Like Home Adult Lodge, which will be owned and operated by the Regional District.
Our ambitious goal of $2 million is well underway, with our Foundation recently surpassing the $1.64 million mark! This puts us significantly closer to achieving our mission of providing a secure and safe place for North Island and Coastal Community members and their families to stay while receiving medical care at Campbell River Hospital when they cannot access care in their home communities, this lodge will be a vital refuge during challenging times.
