Our Board
Our foundation is overseen by a volunteer board of community leaders who have a passion and a commitment to supporting access to quality health care in our community. They come from all walks of life and offer experience, wisdom and countless hours of their time and the foundation is truly grateful for their contributions.

Executive Officers
Tyson Lambert
Chair
I’m Tyson Lambert. I’m a partner in a manufacturing business established here in Campbell River servicing our traditional logging industry customers, hydroelectric industry as well as industrial electric drive systems for machinery. I’m drawn to the hospital foundation as the mission supports anyone, in our local communities, at a time when they need help the most. In fact, my first introduction was a nurse mentioning that equipment she was using on me was sponsored by the foundation. As a board member, I look forward to supporting our wonderful staff in achieving that mission.

I am semi-retired but still providing advisory duties to our family business.
I had thought about joining the CRHF Board for a number of years due to my families long history with the Hospital and my commitment to giving back to the community. When my brother passed away and I saw the excellent care he received I knew it was the time.
My goal for being on the Board is to work with our great team to keep the Foundation in the forefront of the community and to give the people of Campbell River and surrounding area the best health care facility they all deserve.

Hello, my name is Darnell Thulin. For the past 33 years I have had the privilege of calling Campbell River my home and community.
To be able to support our hospital and give back to my community is an honour. The golf tournament fundraiser is my favourite event where I can let a little of my craziness shine and it is always so much fun.
Robin Havelaar
Director
Robin Havelaar is partner at TKS Law in Campbell River, where she focuses exclusively on family law.
Originally from Campbell River, Robin returned to her hometown after living in Yellowknife, Vancouver, Victoria and Fort St. John. She is deeply committed to giving back to the community and is an active member of the Rotary Club of Campbell River. She has served for many years as Chair of the club’s annual March for Children fundraiser, a role that has allowed her to work closely with the Hospital Foundation and support its vital work in local healthcare.
Robin’s dedication to community service led her to join the Hospital Foundation Board, where she continues to advocate for the well-being of the region she proudly calls home.
Stuart Wise
Director
I’m a partner at MNP LLP, where I work as an accountant and business advisor. I joined the Campbell River Hospital Foundation Board because I wanted to give back. Healthcare touches all of us in different ways—sometimes profoundly, sometimes in passing—but we all rely on it at some point. If I can be part of something that helps others when they need it most, I’m all in.
While I’ve been lucky not to need a lot of care myself, my family has. From the birth of our two kids to the care my wife and her father have received, we’ve leaned on the incredible team at the Campbell River Hospital.
As a board member, I hope to contribute in a way that supports and strengthens healthcare in our community.
